I'm a hobby programmer interested in learn about new techniques in php.
I've got my own little php help forum that i recently setup at
http://phpbar.isgreat.orgFor the most part, i use PHP, MySql, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, as well, i've got a decent knowledge in many other programming languages, which of include facebook's FQL, FBJS, FBML and XFBML
As for my abilities; i have yet to actually meet a challenge that i havn't been able to fullfil. For example, when i was around 12-13 i designed a profile application similar to facebook.com, unfortunately, due to lack of funds, it never became a real major competitor. This was one of my first projects, which was inspired by phpBB forums. It include profiles, groups, networks, link proticals, instant messaging, Pming, custom user forums(really customizable), custom applications, user blogs, and 50 or so more other functions... all made between the ages of 12-15.
I'm now 18, and in the past 3 years, my skills have advanced far beyond my expectations.
On average i can create a simple website with several dynamic functions, in a few hours, rather than the few weeks or months when i was just starting out.
As for my coding, i've got some signature "moves" as you call them.
I'm very fond of using iframes in a specific way, and as far as i know, i don't know anyone else who does use them in the same way, and i've talked with thousands of web designers non of which who use it in my manner. An extremely efficient, easy, and compatible replacement for ajax, is by using iframes with no visual effects.
Another Signature move, is that i am obsessed with in-browser pop-ups. i've been using them before they even became remotely popular... in fact, my first website was using them constantly.
My next signature move, is the customization abilities.
All of my complex sites have customizable options, such as changing the background colors or what ever.
On top of that, I like to make objects move-able. For example, having a move-able in-browser popup.
Or move-able advertisements that i have been using for years... not the annoying ones that scroll down, but the ones where you can literally choose where you want the ad*please don't copy that idea btw, it's extremely effective, and i'd like to keep it from becoming popular*
As for my availability, i can do part time work via internet, so i can't fly over to your office. and in January, 2010, to 2012, ill be attending SAIT for business administration.
A little about me,
My career goals are to become a firefighter at the calgary fire department in canada.
Other than web designing, my hobbies include working-out, playing the guitar, electric guitar, clarinet, and piano. as well as Girls xD, and several other minor activities.
For examples of my work, check out my signature, and i'll try to make a list...
